So I know I'm a little slow but here are some or Christmas pictures. At the Christmas party Alex loved Santa this year and I had to drag him off his lap so other kids could have a turn....Kaylee was a different story!!!
We got to go down to Grandma Gay's & Grandpa Jim's before Christmas to pick up Daddy and so the kids got two Christmas they had a blast and they decorated cup cakes with Cousin Jayna. Then we had Christmas at Howe and the kids were definetly spoiled this year they got a kitchen set and some awesome stuff to go with it!! This year I made them quilts for there new rooms, hopefully I'll have pics soon to show you of there rooms decorated....I cant wait!! Also in December Mark Graduated so I put a couple of those pics on too!!

We celebrated Alex's third Birthday on Sunday and he was so cute. He loves Curious George so I made in a cake and we decorated with the little monkey. Alex kept telling us.."I happy" it was really cute. He loved opening the presents and by the end of the night he had played with everything. HE also had three slices of cake the kid really loves cake. I can't believe how fast time goes by and that he is three already it doesn't seem like very long ago when he was born. Alex is such a sweet heart and has such a great personality we love him very much and are lucky that he is part of our Family!!

Kaylee's 1st B-day

I cant believe that Kaylee is one she is getting so big. She is defenitly my drama queen and is very senstive all Alex has to do is tell her NO!!! to make her throw herself back and cry. She is a sweet snuggley thing to and we are so happy she is part of the fam. For her B-day I tried to make her cake and its a rainbow cake but it didn't turn out quite how I hope oh well there is always next year. She wasn't too interested in the present but Alex sure was and had no problem opening some. I aslo made pudding pop's that were rainbow and the look on her face when she tried them was priceless!! Kayla and Ronaldo came over and celebrated with us and it was a blast!!! Kaylee is such a sweet heart and we love her so much, I really couldn't imagine my life with out her!!

Stone Highlights:
About a week ago we got to go to this lake up by Howe and it was so much fun. It was cold but fun, the temp was around 62. Crazy Mark actually got his suit on and got in the water. It was freezing seriously there was still snow. The kids had a great time and Alex loved throwing rocks in the water.

***Alex right now loves the moon he keeps telling it DOWN DOWN Moon and he thinks it his he says, "hine, hine" Its really cute.

****Alex finally doesn't have a binkie...yayayaya so exciting a friend gave me a great idea about taking him to Build a bear but I'm too cheap for that so istead we made our own binkie bear we cut the belly open and stuffed the binkie in and sewed him up ...so far so good now he just snuggles the bear much better.

***Kaylee is walking she is just a little wobbly I think by her B-day she'll be everywhere.

*** Unfortantly for me I had another B-day and turned 29 crazy and so sad I'm getting so old =)

****Marks doing great and working of our house every night one night he stayed out till 4am. Then he gets up and works on the farm till 8pm or later and does all over again.

***We start school again on Monday so we'll be back and forth again..sad because it means less work on the house.

I am a terrible blogger, I should be updated way more.. I take a ton of pictures and then I wait forever to post them and have to do two post oh well!! In my defense my computer crashed so I had to get another one but really it doesn't explain the gap!! =)

The kids are doing great Kaylee is such a little sweet heart she is always smiling. She loves to snuggle which is great since Alex never was a snuggler. I think she going to be just like her brother a little climber, she climbs to the top of our slide and its not one of those little ones its crazy I need to post of video of it.

Alex is doing good to, we found out just recent'y that he had 5 cavitys and since he is under three they had to put him under. It went great, alot better than I expected it to so that was nice he didn't even cry when they took him back. And other than puking all over me when he woke up he did awesome. That same night he was jumping on the trampoline like nothing happened!! Thats my Alex!!!

Overdue Post

Wow, have I been neglecting this blog or what. Well I'll give you alittle update with whats been going on. In April Mark, Kaylee and Me went to Seattle for a little trip. It was awesome to get away for even a couple days. We went to Seattle and went up the space needle, Pikes Market place which was awesome they had so many pretty tulips I wanted to buy them all. The cool thing was that they were cheap, I kept telling Mark," I cant believe how much these are." I bought the bundle of flowers in the pic on the right for ten bucks. Trust me I've worked at lots of Flower shops and that is a steal!! If only I could go there everyweek to buy flowers wouldn't that be cool, on second thought maybe not cool enough to make up for the big city. After we went to Seattle we stopped by and visited My really awesome friend Katie, we went to some fabric stores, stayed at her house with her and her family. WE had such a great time its was really nice to get to see her again.
Now on to the kiddos, both of them are getting so big so fast its crazy. Kaylee is 8 months and I really cant believe it she's crawling and is defenitly developing a personality of her own. She is a huge mamma' s girl anytime she sees me she wants all my attention and when Alex steals her toys which is pretty much all the time she starts crying and looking at me like Aren't you going to do anything about him!!!
Alex is.... well what can I say other than he's just Alex. He's my handful child but he's fun to be around and is always doing something silly like climbing on top of our SVU or locking himself inside and starting it.. with mommy outside screaming at him to open the door. The kid has no fear of heights which worries me alot and defenitly has a mind of his own!!

Megan had found these on a craft blog and made one so i copied her pattern. These cute little potato heads I made out of felt with my neighbor Laura. It really didn't take that long to cut them out and sew them and it was a ton of fun. It will be perfect for church. I'm also working on a quiet book so I'll post pic's of that later.

I cant believe it Kaylee is 5 months..where does time go?? She had her check up and she weighs 14.2 pounds and is 25 1/2 inches long. She is our happy happy baby she's always smiling and laughing. She's rolling over and grabbing everything. Alex loves his baby sister, maybe a little too much but he loves to talk to her and make her smile.

It has been forever since I've posted anything..I didn't even post Christmas pics. Well things here have been a little crazy and Mark started school again. The kids are doing good Kaylee is growing so much. This picture was actually taken before Christmas, time is really flying by and I lose track of the weeks pretty soon it will be spring and I cant wait. Alex really misses being able to go outside and so do I, we are counting down the days!

Alex's B-day & Kaylee's Blessing

On the 6th we celebrated Alex's b-day and Kaylee's blessing. It so crazy how fast time fly's Alex is offically two. He was so cute with his cake ... but who could blame him with a cke that's pretty much all candy he loved it. He was taking on the kitkats and passing them out to everyone and eating the m&m's off the top. I wasn't really sure how he would react to the gifts but I really didn't even have to tell him what to do he just started ripping them open. He had no problem opening them all and I cant wait till Christmas because he is going to go nuts. He got some clothes for his Birthday and he instantly wanted to put them on.

Tidbits about 2 year old Alex: He's a monkey all the time, working on pottey training and doing great, loves Toy story but wont watch any other form of TV (I got him a Buzz lightyear for Christmas and I can hardly wait to give it to him) Alex loves his sister even though he can be alittle abuse and he is a sweet heart (when he wants to be) and we are very lucky to have him in our family!!!
Kaylee had here blessing on the same day as Alex's B-day and we were lucky to have Great Grandparents drive up for it. We even got a four generation picture w/ Kaylee, Grandma Janene, Great Grandma Gay & Me. She looked so precious, orginally I had made a blessing dress out of my wedding dress but sad to say that once I got it on her it didn't really want to come off so I just bought her a new one...oh well I tried I'll have to post a pic because it turned out pretty cute!!!

So I haven't updated my blog in awhile, thing have been a little crazy and alot has happened. First we had Grandma Cathy come to visit and we were so happy that she got to come and see baby Kaylee and play with Alex. We had a great Halloween and we carved pumpkins and went to the trunk or treat. Then a couple weeks later Grandpa Randy got to come for a visit, it really is so nice to get to see them. On other news ... very sad news my camera decided that it was going to die... but good news is I got an early Christmas present, we decide to get a good camera so it will last so I got a Canon Rebel and let me tell you I am in love the pictures above i took them with my new camera. They are so clear and its really so easy to use. Like I said I'm in love and you might start getting a picture overload on the blog. Things at the Stone's are going really good and I have to say having two kids is turning out for me to be easier than I expected but that could be due to the fact that Kaylee is a great baby she sleeps pretty good and overall she is super happy. I defenitly had my hard baby first which I am thankful for because Alex is still a handful=)

So things are going good at the Stone's although he has become very attatched to mommy and really doesn't like me holding the baby at all. It defintely makes feeding interesting. In the picture were I'm holding both of them I was trying to burp Kaylee and as you can see who wanted to help.

This was so funny I was at the neighbors and Alex had started to cry well Mark just let him cry himself back to sleep and when Grandma went to check on him this is how we found him dead asleep, with the light on and feet dangling!!

My neighbor Megan took these amazing pictures of Kaylee. They turned out so perfect you'll have to go check out here photography blog to see the other ones. The hard part is going to be choosing which ones to have printed... well not that hard becuase they are all great so I'll just have to get them all. She did some amazing things with adobe photoshop on some of them!!Thanks so much Megan I love them!!
She also designed some digital scrapbooking pages and kits...and they are free but she could totally charge money for them!!! All of my cute little picture collages came from her free templates!!

Here are some more cute pic's of our little Kaylee, so far she is a really good baby she still is mixed up on sleeping all day and being up at night but I'm working on that. Right now the new development in the Stone Crazy house is that Alex is a MONKEY yesterday he layed down for a nap and all of the sudden I heard the music blarring and I knew that the cd player was on top of our really tall dresser. Then I heard Alex screaming and sure enough he was on top of it and couldn't get back down. Today Alex started climbing out of his crib and he lands completely on his feet, later I'll post a pic of his room because his crib is pretty high off the ground. So needless to say he has to sleep in his toddler bed. Nap time didn't go so well with him screaming for an hour but tonight he went right to bed so keep your fingers crossed!!

Here is our sweet little Kaylee, everything went good with the c-section and she is doing really good. They let us come home from the hospital early and we got home on Friday around 3:00pm. So far she's a great little eater and not to bad on the sleeping. Alex doesn't quite know what to think about her yet, but he'll come around and I'll post more pic's later.

I had to post my projects and normally I'd post them on the quilt blog but I haven't been very good at updating that so I thought that I'd post my pic's here. I made my own pink car seat cover and am pretty proud how it turned out, I was doubting that I could do it and it turned out to be pretty easy. I just put it directly over the top of the one I used for Alex!!

I wasn't going to make a diaper bag but I saw this pattern and it looked really easy. The pictures dont really show how much crap it can really hold and I added a few extra pockets. It was a great easy pattern and I love how it turned out not to mention that I already had all the fabric I need to make it so I just had to buy the gramets and the lining and pattern!!!

So I really am going to post something and update the blog....I only have 10 days left till I have my c-section, crazy I know this summer has flown by I don't even really know where it went!! I'm going to take some new pics to post tomorrow so I wont be so far behind on whats happening. Mark started school in Pocatello last week and Alex is getting so big and I think into his terrible two's way too early but what can ya do!!! Its so crazy to think that soon I'll have two... maybe I'll even take a pick of my prego belly, who knows!!!

I know its been forever since I posted so here is a bundle of pictures.... My camera wasn't working and I was really worried becuase I did buy an extended warrenty but it was at circut city =( But it did start working again so thats good just cross your fingers it keeps it up!!

This summer Alex and me have been spending a ton of time outside and on the 4 wheeler he loves to go on rides we really could drive around for hours and he would be happy. We've been working on my parents back yard so we have an awesome place to hang out, if you see the bottom pic's you can see the deck and our fire pitt!!

I'm pregnant...... yes again and due pretty soon. We've known for awhile but wanted to wait a little to announce it and time has just gotten away from me!!! We had an ultrasound but I couldn't scan the pic's but we did find out we are having a little girl. I'm excited, Marks alittle scared but we are happy. I'm due around Sept. 15th and I am 21 weeks along right now!! The good thing is I'm finally not sick anymore and have started to not lose weight. I'm also so glad that this time it hasn't seemed like I've been pregnant forever.

We had a great weekend I love nice sunshine and warm weather it is fantastic. Easter was kind of cold but it has been warming up since. Alex and me go outside every chance we can he loves to be outside.. I mean he LOVES IT and I love any chance I can get to sit in the sun.

We went to Howe this weekend and I washed out the pool we had from last year and Grandma had some balls she got at a yard sale so instead of a sand box we have a this and Alex loves it. At first he really didn't know what to do but then I got in and he started to figure it out.
He loved riding on the tractor with grandpa, when I was little I loved to do the same thing!!

Swimming Lesson's

Alex started swim lesson's last week, we are going to a Mommy & me swim class on Tuesday & Thursday @ 6:00pm and it is so much fun Alex loves the water and I'm really surprised at how fearless he is about going under. We have a pretty big class and there are babys as young as six months its really neat to watch them swim. Alex is good at jumping in the water and then I let him go under to get use to it. Mark came with us this time and so he was going back and forth between us. He loves to go swimming and its really bad when we first get there and he cant get in till the other classes are done, he has no patience and cant understand why he cant just run and jump in....... =)

Alex's new thing is to climb on the computer chair and play with the computer or climb on the table so now I always have to make sure the chair is turned on its side under the table. Last week we heard him screaming really loud and Mark went to check on him and the chair had moved away from the table and he was sitting on the chair and hanging on the table, if he would have let go he would have face planted in on the floor.
A couple days a go I ran to Walmart and came home to my two favorite guys sound asleep on the couch, it was so cute....

A Much need update....

Well it seems like this is the first chance that I've had to actually update the blog..Alex has been sick and teething and really doesn't like it when I get on the computer without him on my lap which makes it almost impossible to do anything. The other reason is that our internet sucks here terrible and I mean it has been so bad I cant open any pages. We are connected to the ISU internet so I think its really overloaded but there isn't much we can do about that. At least I can do a quick update tonight it seems to be working pretty good. These last couple of weeks we've had alot going on it seems like. My Cousin had her little girl this Wed. and so me, mom and Alex went down to see her. She is adorable and seems to be a really good baby so far. Alex on the other hand was not very happy all weekend but I guess I wouldn't be happy either if I had crap running down my throat and 4 teeth coming in. I have to put this cutest video of Alex we took a little bit ago he just started laughing so hard at nothing so of course Mark kept it going by make faces at him... it was really cute!!! Well I hope everybody has a great week.

Quick Update!!

Well I know this is alittle late coming but we've had alot happen we had Christmas and New Years and then moved to Pocatello so Mark can start the Engineering program. Were all settled in to our new place. Unfortunately we all got sick right after we moved in. Not the flu but a terrible cold sore throat thing. It has really sucked and seems like its taken forever to run its course!! But we had a great Christmas and New Years and hope that everyone else has too!!

So Alex wasn't to thrilled with the snow but it didn't really help that he face planted it in the snow right off the bat. After that he really didn't want anything to do with the snow but we got a few cute pictures.
He just really wanted to be heldthe whole time everytime we tried to set him down he'd start to cry it was so cute. Mark tried to get him to do a snow angel but he wasn't to thrilled with that....imagine that =)

We also had our Branch Christmas party and Santa was there and so we got some pictures with him Alex didn't do to bad he was way to interested in the bag of goodies!!!

Alex's First Birthday!!!

I cant believe that it has been a year already, its just crazy. These day's there really isn't anything he cant do... well thats at least what he thinks. He is my little monkey and I mean that literally all he wants to do is climb on anything and everything. The only problem is that he doesn't know how to get down so he is always falling of stuff. He also never sits still, ever since he started walking he cant sit still for even a second. He is so much fun to be around he's always happy and playful and we love him so much we are so lucky to have him in our lives.

Alex had such a great birthday he loved all of his gifts, Mark and me got him the dump truck with blocks and he really loved playing with it. He also got some clothes and other toys.

I made him a cake and it really didn't turn out the way I wanted it to but oh well what can you do. I decided I'm no cake decorator and nor do I want to be.

Alex loved the cake, he really loved the frosting he kept dipping his candle in the frasting and licking it off, it was really cute.

Grandma and Grandpa Stone gave Alex this so cute Thomas the train that you ride and he loves it so much. Its so cute how he rides it I took a video of him. He loves to climb all over the train, he stands on the seat and then climbs on top of it, seriously my little monkey. Also he has been holding his finger out to tell us how old he is its so cute.

Alex's First Thanksgiving!!!

We had such a great Thanksgiving this year Mark's parent were able to drive out and spend it with us. Alex loved seeing his Grandma and Grandpa. It was great hanging around the house and playing games. Alex really loved his Thanksgiving meal he was so cute and really happy. He ate a little bit of everything.
Grandpa put whip cream all over his face, I got a really cute picture of it he was like "what's going on mommy"......

A little train ride!!!

On our way to Utah for Cassandra's baby shower we stopped at Walmart and I gave Alex a ride in a Bob the Builder train it was so cute he loved. He wouldn't sit down at all but he really had a blast!!!!

We had a great time in Utah Cassandra's baby shower that we threw for her went good and we had alot of fun games that everybody seemed to enjoy. I loved making all the goodies for her, little girls stuff is so cute and fun!! I cant wait till she comes Alex and her will be the only great grandkids on my mom's side of the family!!!

Alex's First Halloween

So I gave Alex a sucker for the first time and as you can tell he absoultely loved it.... he was so cute!!! We had such a blast I cant wait till next Halloween!!!

My little Pumpkin' was so cute on Halloween, he really didn't know what to think but he figured it out fast taking the candy out of the bowl. We went to our Branch trunk or treat in the parking lot it was really fun.

I made him a quick little candy bag before we left and I thought that he would carry it but he wasn't to interested in that but he did like all the candy that went into it.

I even dressed up and believe it or not I fit into my old cheerleader outfit.... it was a little shorter than it use to be =) When we got home Alex had so much fun playing with all the candy and he figured out how to open a couple..... the suckers imagine that!!!

Alot's Happened...

I cant believe that another month is already almost gone.. This month flew by fo me it's been pretty busy. Two weeks ago Katie came from Washington to go to Quilt Retreat with me and it was awesome we had a blast. I accomplished a couple projects and so did Katie so you'll have to check out the quilt blog to see more pictures. I have one at the bottom.

Also Dad and Mark have bee working on the shop and so far they have got alot done. Its so high up at the top I cant believe it. This was a picture of them finishing up the cross broads for the roof . They still have a ton to do but hopefully they can finish it before it starts to snow but who knows.

Alex is getting so big I cant believe that he's almost 1 its so crazy. Its getting so hard to take pictures of him he wont sit still for a second. He never stops running from the second he gets up till the second I lay him down he's just a crazy little guy and I love hanging out with him he always makes me smile.

This is what we've had for the last few days...SNOW!! Its so crazy I can't believe how cold it is here, I am so not ready for the snow. Oh well I guess it was going to happen eventually!!!

Alex is getting so big I cant believe it, he is such a little Tazmanian (Sorry if i didn't spell it right) He gets into everything there really is no stopping him. His favorite thing is to take all his toys out of his toy box and throw them all over the floor. He also loves to tear apart anything paper.
We've been having this deer hang out around the house in the trees, we were getting ready to go and he was just out the front door.
It is getting crazy cold here this morning it snowed up the valley and there was snow on the mountains. I am so not looking forward to winter, summer just flew by.

I also have been canning like crazy, I canned these pears also I've canned peaches and hot pepper jelly. I have been ripping my tomatos down stairs in the basement and blended them and freezing them until their all ready and then I can can some spagetti sauce. Also I still have beets in the garden I have to can.....

Wow our 2 Year Anniversary!!

So I'm finally posting pictures of Mark and me's little anniversary get away. It worked out so good Mark got a letter from the VA and had to go to an appointment in Bosie on the 12th. So Friday morning we got in the car really early to head out. We made great time to Boise and had enough time to go to check in at our hotel I booked before the appointment. When we got there I found out that they picked me as the Guest of the day and they didn't even know it was our anniversary...it was an such suprise. They upgraded our room it was awesome.
The bathroom had a shower and tub it was so fancy...

It had a little kitchen also it had a fire place and a TV above the fireplace.

It even had its own balcony..We went to the appointment and then we went and got lunch and brought it back to the hotel and just relaxed it was great just relaxing and not worrying about anything. We went to a movie, dinner and went swimming. It was such a great day...I love you, baby.. thanks for a great two years. I am so happy that we have the rest of eternity to spend together becuase there is no one esle I'd rather be with.

The other day Great Grandma Elsie and Great Grandpa Tommy came to visit and brought awhole bunch of corn so we blanched and froze it and Alex loved chewing on the raw corn and cooked corn. It was so cute he kept take each one leaving his little teeth mark on all of them. He really had a blast I think he could have chewed on the cob all day!!

Well Alex has finally got some teeth and they are so little and cute. I also put a couple of cute pic's I took of him. He is getting so big and is almost walking he can take about five steps and then desides it faster to crawl. Usually he walks when no one is paying attentions to him.

They had a beautiful memorial for Marks grandparents, his Grandmother passed away last year and his Grandpa just a couple of months ago. Everyone got together in Coloma were they use to have a Cabin to spread their ashes and to have a memorial. They released doves and it was beautiful they released 2 symbolizing Edward and Jeannie, then 7 others they circled above several times and then slowly dissappeared.

Trip to California!!!

We went to California for a memorial for Mark's Grandparents and to visit. We went to Coloma, CA first and they had a beautiful memorial. Then we hung out by the river and visited. We had a really great time.

This pic is of Alex and me on the tube @ Lake Tahoe Grandpa was pulling us around on it.

Mark and his dad rode street bikes to Coloma and had alot of fun......going to slow of course ;)

We also got to have dinner with Alison and her family and got to visit and shop...

The waitress took the picture and I'm not sure why it turned out red.. oh well

So went to Grandma GG's and Great grandpa's this weekend to visit and I come home to Mark's new toy an old Army Truck. He's going to use the axles on his 4Runner.
When we were in Utah we went to a whole bunch of yard sales and found some really cute toys for Alex for cheap. We had alot of fun with Greay Grandma & Grandpa!!

Swager Lake!!

This saturday we went for a motorcycle up to Swager Lake and the only way you can get up there is by Motorcycles. It was probably the hardest ride I have ever been on. It was so easy to get high centered and it was so steap and rocky. It was defenitly worth the ride though it was absolutely beautiful up there it took about an hour and the scenery was awesome!!

This was the lake and there was fish in it but we didn't take our poles.

The flowers were all in bloom and they were so pretty!!
Also there were some really cool trees there I got pic's of!!!

It's a rough life...

So Alex has a short attention span so I'm always trying to find ways to entertain him while I'm either sewing or trying to get cleaning and stuff done. On this day I was trying to finish a couple of projects so I decided to put him in the carrier and it was so cute he kept trying to look over my shoulder to try and see what I was doing. It lasted for about 20 minutes but I will take what I can get especially when I'm sewing =)
You know its a rough life when you get to swing in the hammock and fall asleep... I guess someone has to do it! =)
Alex loves to be outside and its nice that it has finally started to warm up, its seemed like it has taken forever and even though its warmed up I could have it warmer and everyone is dying and its only like in the high 80's! Not warm enough for me but I do love to sit out in the sun with Alex he likes all the leaves in the tree's! He's fallen asleep twice in the hammock this time in the pic and another time when Mark and me and him were swinging!!!

On another note Mark passed his Math test and is now applying for the Engineering Program at ISU which his counsler said he shouldn't have any problem getting him since he did so good on the test. He's pretty excited to start school and we will probably be moving the Pocey so it wont be such a long drive... but that might not be for awhile he'll start school in August.

An Overdue Update!!

Tahoe Trip

Well I got my computer fixed and we just got back from vacation so I have alot to report. Mark finally got out of the army and Alex was finally able to see Grandma Cathy & Grandpa Randy. Mark got out here two weeks after Alex and me, we were so happy that he is out the army. When he got out here we got to go to Tahoe and see Marks parents. It had been almost a year since we've seen them...way to long!!

We got to go to Los Angeles and see Marks Grandpa and we got a four generation picture. Mark was so excited to see his Grandpa and for him to see Alex!!!

Mark and his dad rode street bikes a couple times in Tahoe and had alot of fun he also went dirt bike riding with his dad and his friend James!!
After we were in Califonia we met Dawn and Trent in Moab, Ut and caught up.. We also walked around the Moab park a little bit and Treyton and Alex got to play together a little. It was so cute they each had a grab of Treyton's silky and were both putting it in there mouths!!!

I have alot more pictures and stuff to report but I think I will save that for the next post otherwise this is going to be a very long post....LOL

Tuesday we had some crazy weather for Tennesse we got snow and it was cold...maybe its just trying to get us use to all this since we will heading out west. It warmed up quick and all the snow melted fast and we are back to warm weather again!!! I am defenitly going to miss the weather here!!!

He has the cutest little smile I just love it even in the morning when I am still tired and he's wide awake and smiling all I want to do is wake up and play with him!!

Well we have finally heard from the Army our fate and ......We are getting out yeahhhhhhhhhh...... We are just waiting for signatures so we are on the count down of when we are leaving. They told us that it would take about two weeks so hopefully it doesn't end up taking longer. My dad is flying out here to drive with me & Alex and so if Mark isn't out he might have to stay a little longer but hopefully it all works out. We are so excited to be leaving even though we will miss friends that we've made here... we aren't on the other hand sad to be leaving the company of the Army =)

So we will be heading out around the 8th of March ... I know its very soon lots of packing and stuff to get ready!!

As you can see I've been making changes to my blog complements of my wonderful cousin Gwen's Sites. I love the digital scrapbooking I think it is so cool and am so excited to get Alex's Scrapbook using it I did one w/ Shutterfly for our wedding album but I just haven't ordered it yet, but it was so easy and by the time you buy all the paper print picture its actually cheaper and easier to do online....oh the wonders of the internet!!! It does take a little of the craftyness out of it but its nice for me when I am notorious for starting a million projects and getting them almost done =)

Alex is growing so much.. he had his 2 month appontiment this Monday and it was so sad when he had to get his shots but he did pretty good!!!

When I had him measured last week I think the person who measured him didn't get it right because he his measuring

TORNADO'S

We defenitly had some excitement the other night!! TORNADO'S!!!!

All night we had terrible storms and two different times during the night we had sirens going off. This is only the second time we had sirens going off, I made Mark make a little fort for us becuase we dont have any interior rooms or a basement. So he propped the mattress against the coach and thats were we desided to take cover!! I figrued if the tornado hit at least the building would fall on the mattress. The thing was is that at about 11:00 pm when the storm stopped I had Mark take down the fort. Then at probably 12:30 we had an even worse storm hit so we had no cover but everything turned out. But I have to say I was a little nervous....okay maybe a lot if you asked Mark =)

I can not wait to get out west were Tornado's are pretty much non-exsiting!!

Alex is getting so big he's out growing his clothes so fast...last night I put him in a 6 month sleeper. He's so long that I have a hard time fitting him in alot of his clothes his pants are high risers and he cant stretch out in his sleepers. I love how he's growing and changing evryday!!!

This is so I can quilt like the big very expensive quilters but on a smaller scale and it works great for all the small projects that I've been working on. Mark is so a great!!! Alex's First Christmas

Here is the changing table that Mark and my Dad built for me. I was having a hard time bending over changing him it was hurting my back pretty good. So like the wonderful husband that he is he came up with this and it works great. The part were you put him came from the playpen/bassinet that I have and then they built a little table on the sideout of wood.

Alexander Pierson Stone Has Arrived

8 lbs 2 oz, 21 inches long

We went in at 3:00am on the 5th when my water broke and started our long journey to this wonderful little boy coming into this world. We ended up having to have a c-secton because I wasn't progressing after 19 hours and started to get a temp and @9:20pm on the 6th they took us into to pull him out!! Mark said that when they were pulling him out he didn't know how he was in my belly he was so big and long.
Alex had to be taken away and had to get an IV with antibiotics, it took them almost 4 hours to get his IV in poor little guy had a rough start. I was dying to see him again and we were so happy when they finally brought him in to see us.
I Finally know now why I was so uncomfortable this big guy was balled up in my belly. But it was defenitly worth it!!

Heres the cutest picture of Alex and his daddy, we are both so happy he's healthy and finally here. Later I will post more adorable pictures of Alex.

Christmas Stokings!!!

These are the Christmas Stockings I just finished...I'm so excited they turned out so cute and I have a matching table runner that just needs the border finished. I also made an extra stocking for another little one (but that wont be for quite awhile I need plenty of time to recover from this pregnancy)!!! Its been so nice not working these last couple of weeks its given me a chance to sew alot which has been alot of fun!!! Monday we also got our Christmas tree and Christmas decorations up before Alex comes!!!

ICE CASTLE!!

We went to The Ice Castle in Nashville with Katie and Ken its actually a whole bunch of carved ice and this years theme was "How the Grinch Stole Christmas" It was pretty cool and they give you these big coats to keep you warm while you walk through the building.

Everything was carved out of ice and all of the colored figures are all ice too!!

Sorry I haven't posted in awhile our computer crashed and its still not fixed but I took Marks old computer to the Geek squad and they at least fixed his so I can get on the computer and keep everybody up to date. (Especially when Alex comes) We went bowling last week with a couple of Marks friends, I'd have to say it was a little interesting for me to bowl since the ball is as big as my belly...well my belly might be bigger but thats besides the point. We had a good time...I was kind of hoping for some labor action to come from it but I am still pregnant =( I guess he will com when he wants to!!!!

Saturday we went with Nick, Abby and Emma to a pumpkin patch. They had different activities their like a pig race and other fun things for the kids. Also they had a corn maze but we didn't go through it. It was such a fun day!!!

FiShInG @ Land Between The Lakes!!!!

On Monday we went fishing with Bryan & Bobby out at Land Between the lakes and had a great time. Mark caught a couple Blue gill Fish, Bobby caught a small mouth Bass and Bryan caught a Catfish. (We wont discuss the fish that I caught it was bigger than all there fish put together its just no one saw it and I may have imagined it...hehehe)

The weather here is so hot still, we've still been getting up to the 90's. I cant believe that it has already snowed out west and is as cold as it is at night!!! I'm definitely going to freeze when we move back, which is looking like it could be sooner than we thought.....cross your fingers!!!
